Getting to the Wedding

Mürren is a picturesque alpine village perched above the Lauterbrunnen Valley in Switzerland. It's completely car free, and is accessible only by cable car or train. Your journey here will likely begin by flying into one of the airports below. You can then take a train to Mürren or a car to the Stechelberg cable car station.

Mürren Access | Cable Car
The Stechelberg-Mürren cable car (aerial cableway) is a scenic, multi-stage route connecting the Lauterbrunnen valley floor to the car-free village of Mürren. It is about a 4 minute ride.

The Day Before

The Ceremony
Transportation for all guests will be provided from the Stechelberg-Mürren cable car base in the Lauterbrunnen valley for a 12pm arrival at Schloss Spiez Castle Church, ceremony will take place from 1-2pm. Transportation for all guests will be provided back directly to The Mürren Palace for reception events.
The Ceremony will be held in the Spiez Castle Church, the church can be cool. Blankets will be provided however, please bring an extra layer if you wish.
The Reception
Reception events will begin at 5pm, Apertif hour will take place in the outside garden. Please ensure you have a coat or warm layer with you if needed. Apertif and reception events will be held at The Mürren Palace.
Attire
Black Tie
Our church ceremony will be held in Spiez Castle Church, followed by apertif & dinner in the garden area of The Mürren Palace. The Apline air will be a little crisp, please dress accordingly.
Transportation
We will be organizing transportation for all guests to the ceremony and back to the reception at The Mürren Palace.

We recommend staying in Mürren the evening of the wedding as the cable car does not run past 8:30pm
