Mürren is a picturesque alpine village perched above the Lauterbrunnen Valley in Switzerland. It is completely car free, and is accessible only by cable car or train. Your journey here will likely begin by flying into one of the airports below. You can then take a train to Mürren or a car to the Stechelberg cable car station.

Mürren Access | Cable Car
The Stechelberg-Mürren cable car (aerial cableway) is a scenic, multi-stage route connecting the Lauterbrunnen valley floor to the car-free village of Mürren. It is about a four minute ride.

The Day Before

The Ceremony
Transportation for all guests will be provided from the cable car base in the Stechelberg to Schloss Spiez Castle Church for the ceremony. The church can be cool. Blankets will be provided however, please bring an extra layer if you wish. Following the ceremony, return transportation for all guests will be provided back directly to The Mürren Palace for reception events.
The Reception
Apertif hour will take place in the outside garden at The Mürren Palace following the ceremony. Please ensure you have a coat or warm layer with you if needed. Reception events will be held at The Mürren Palace.
Attire
Black Tie
Our church ceremony will be held in Spiez Castle Church, followed by apertif & dinner in the garden of The Mürren Palace. The Apline air will be a little crisp, please dress accordingly.
Accommodation October 16th & 17th
We recommend staying in Mürren the evenings of October 16th & 17th, the cable car does not run past 8:30pm
